Come to Baku, Azerbaijan and become a teacher.... you'll earn about 25$ an hour.....
Or you could go to Israel and live on a Kibutz for 6 months, if you like we can go together, because I've been in Baku for four years and I'll be leaving at the end of this month and I don't know what I'll be doing either....

Take a trip to London it's a bit safer than Afganistan and the is always plenty of work in bars / hotels for backpackers
but if you want to work in a London bar put on a fake Australian accent and they will hire you on the spot (I think it must work like that because London bars are full of Aussie staff)

Oh yeah, you could go the Australian Embassy and apply for a one year working visa and go to Australia for a year....

i'm not saying it's a bad thing about Aussie bar staff, in fact it's pretty cool that bar owners hire foreign staff. (they could tell people to f**k off). it also gives people who want to see the area extra cash to continue their world tour.

Yeah, I agree with Deltayoda. Get a decent education. That's the right path!

Take a job as a bus driver. I used to do that part time when I was studying at the University of Oslo. OK pay, but you wont become rich. It is at least better paid than a shop assistant. And safer than being a cab driver. K.A.

Are you rich and spoilt to not have an education? Or is it that you fooled around a lot and now you realise the value of a good education? In either case its never too late to hit the books.
But if you have a basic education then try merchant navy. They don't ask for any hi-tech degrees and though the initial years are quite demanding (physically), you will be able to make it as a captain in about 10 years time.
I had friends who joined this service after they finished 12th and are now first-mates in tankers and cargo ships. They get to travel a lot and get long (really long!) vacations once a year. Since they travel a lot, and can't take their wives along all the time - they usually have a different wife in different country - an added incentive to join
