@neocookie
I dont know really
Its encoded 176x144 in PVAuthor, but the phone appears to think its 320x240 (says so in the Info boks), so I would think the phone scales it down. But I really dont know actually.
Either way - it works
However, I noticed last night while watching a 22min episode of Simpsons, that the video froze at 17min, while the audio kept going in the back, but the picture remained the same. I dont know if this is because of the 'special' encoding, or just the video playback that suck a little. Gonna do a few tests in the weekend.

@supra2800
I tried to use your profile with PVAuthor (v. 3.3.1).
First of all, when loading the profile the program warned me about some missing parameters on the profile.
Then i encoded a video and.......NOTHING!
No fullscreen or full-width for that matter.
Have i missed something?

Seems everything is quiet in this topic. So what happened with that application?

Back to your original post neocookie, I own as S700 and it's great. However, i hate to steer you away from the wonderful world of SE but have you considered Orange's SPV C500? My brother has this phone and can convert movies and such to play full screen. Also it's not too bulky, many people have this criticism with the S700. The only down side to the SPV C500 is that the screen has lower resolution.
I think it could be worth investigating.
