I just changed my mind about what I said last night. This is an interesting bug. As Dj_Bughunter said, if you enter a date like 01.01.89, the calendar puts you on 01.01.70. If on the other hand, you enter 01.01.90, and press the joystick up, you can scroll all the way back to january 1970, but interestingly, this month starts on the fifth, not on the first.
So not only is there a date-jump-bug before 1990, but the phone also does not know about the leapyears between 1970 and 1989.

well then lets get to work DJ2K has to be de-bugged...! I'm sending SE a report of the matter, All K 700 users please do the same..That will make them come out with a firmware faster..! Please...

I have found that the phone doesnt alarm when a scheduled event is due to happen.
It seems pointless to even enter events as I miss them due to no notification!!!
