Guys the 7710 might have a radio and EDGE but it has no IR (which is still used a lot by devices) and look at the size and weight of the thing (for me even the p900 is too big to lug around). Even with the added size and battery rating for the 7710 it still gets only the half the standby time. So I wouldn't go around calling a better phone by any means.

i'm not saying you can't have one without t'other, just that if you have mp3 you don't need radio and vice versa, and mp3 is probably viewed as a superior option since you can choose what you play. that said, i would prefer a phone with both options - remembering that s700 is one of the highest-end non-smartphones available.

Smartphones do not have radio coz it is considered as a not so important option unlike touchscreen, Bluetooth and PDA capabilities. To me it is a pity, coz when you travel or idle in trains or busses or planes, a radio can be a nice companion. I miss that in my P900.
Hopefully SE looks at our comments and put one in the P1K.
