ive got a 6600, (and a P900, and t68i) and you just bluejack someone the same as you would with most phones, create a new contact, and then press options, and then send, then Via bluetooth, et voila! sounds like you are trying to pair with a phone not just send it contacts, which you DONT need to do.

I have had more failure than success but hey, thats part of the fun isn't it ?
In a crowded bar the other night I must have tried 4 or 5 times with only one 'should've bought a sony message' getting through and to make matters worse they guy it went to had renamed his phone, so for all I know he may well have been a fellow

@marlonski: Would have been fun if you had bluejacked me with that message. I'd have had a hearty laugh over it :-)

@AYA lol
I recently renamed my phone just in case it happened to me...anybody picking up mine whilst searching for new devices will see 'K700i Tron'
What actually confuses me is if all phones ask for a passkey then unless your bluejack is accepted it won't work ? or is it the case that some phones don't require the passkey ?
I've managed to bluejack a few nokia's so I'm scratching my heeed a little here
Anyone shed any light on this ?

Ideally, the passkey is required only if you attempt to pair your device with another. That has been my regular experience but for one wierd time a Sharp GX15 I was attempting to bluejack asked for one!

@AYA
Ok that makes sense....thanks

with that in mind i would have to agree that it is weird that some accept and some don't. Oh well, just adds to the fun I suppose not knowing whether it will be recived or not
