I am not impressed with the specs of clara talking compared to the k700,ok yu have some improvements like memory and colors but I don't need them at all and the 2mp is not a + for people like me who have a 4mp canon,so I will wait to clara 2 and play with my best phne ever the k700

@vegetabl
If your happy with what you have then cool. I haven't really seen much in the way of spec other than what you've mentioned.
I'm happy with my k700 also , as I change my phone once a year if something like the clara is available when i upgrade then naturally i will be having one unless something else comes along that blows me away.
For me the improvement my k700 has over my T610 is a breath of fresh air which was also the same senario for me changing from a nokia 6510 to a t610.
Hopefully the ui will be improved upon (not that I'm complaining about the ui on the k700) but again subtle tweaks as they've done this time around can only make whatever comes along next even more enjoyable to use.
Memory card would be nice, i'd like to mess about and try the odd film on it or put a couple of albums on it without having to worry about recompressing mp3. I know it's a phone and i do have an mp3 player but the versatility of more memory in a
k700 size phone would be nice (imho) and I'm not in anyway complaining about the k700's mem which is very respectable.
A 2mp camera would be a nice bonus too. I've had some great shots from my k700 considering it's vga but who wouldn't want a 2mp camera on their phone given the chance ? The k700 is good enough to capture those moments when you wish you had a camera, a 2mp would achieve some great results, unless of course you carry your canon around with you all of the time:)

Im very happy with my K700
Clara does inlcude some nice improvements that would be nice to have - like camera, memoryslot, better screen.
Im not sure yet though that Im going for Clara myself - so far Im not to funned of the design compared to K700, Clara imho are a litle dull designwise. I would have also liked to see not just an improvement in screencolors - but also a small enlargement of the physical screensize. Would have been nice if screensize were the same as S65 for instance. I also whish for full screen videoplayback - but that is not confirmed yet if Clara does that or not.

Yes agree that those sort of improvements would make the clara a worthy replacement for the k700.
Imho I like the look of the clara, well at least from some of the shots that I have seen on the esato and also the link I posted earlier in this thread

As rumours suggest clara isnt a uiq3 phone . I think it will take some more time to see uiq3 non touchscreen smartphone , my personal guess is that itll be after the launch of so called p1000

If ever launched, would it be priced above the S700?

@whizzkid...thats a good point.
One can only assume that if it's a replacement for the T or K series then the pricing would have to be in the same region as the K700 when first launced or they would price themselves out of this market sector perhaps ? (imho).
