Well even a mono signal would play sound in both earphones so I'd still rather listen to music with two. It would just play the same audio channel in each.
Stereo output to a stereo headset plays different audio channels in each side.
And no I can't see your avatar as they don't show on HTML light! But having a P910 u'll already know that
