Yahoo has always worked fine for me, is quite fast and and is free in the UK. No trouble at all setting up the email client in my phone to use it either.

whizkidd, I have never had to pay for Yahoo pop3 access in the UK on pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk, although I do believe they have different policies for different mail servers.

can you described more details please, I use T39 configured with hotpop but can't get connected to server
