@mc
If the s700 was in good condition I would go that just for the better camera and the extra memory, if this is important to you and you don't mind having a phone in poor condition then get it.
It's bad condition would steer me away from it and towards a brand new k700. Ok the camera is vga and there's no mem stick but it does do everything the s700 does and you will not be dissapointed !

I just bought a used S700 with a few scratches and I love it..
I sold my K700 and I must say the screen alone makes the change worthful..
Get the S700!!
with 128mb card you get 170mb and thats enough to use it as a Mp3 player

i love how everybody says the the S700 is just a K700 with a 1,3 meg camera, HELLO it s not the same phone it has ton of better features and just the screen make it a way better phone ( i used to have a K700 before) but now in your situation choosing between a deffective better phone or a very good working phone i ll choose the K700 hand down

You right in what your saying to a point. Yes the s700 is a higher class mobile, I don't think the anyone could argue that based on spec. However, I still think fundamentally the phones are the same, if you dissregard the obvious improvements, (we all know, includes the screen) they have the same functions, menus/ ui .
Imho the k700 makes more sense for most people, being smaller, easier to put in your pocket, less fussy to use when texting,(not having to use the swivel mechanism to get to the keys). One could argue that this gives the K700 the advantage but as said here many times it's all down to personal needs, it's not all about spec. Sure we know the obvious advantages in the s700, but a way better phone ?I'm not convinced.
I've read a fair number of reviews about the s700 and would be interested to know from your experience as a user of both, models what you mean by the 'tons' of better features ? Perhaps you could clarify this a little ?

Buy/get the

S700 mate . . . now, after awhile try replacing the 'scratched' covers (when it comes already available in the market - of course). Just be sure that all of the features works well mate. Good Luck!
