> K700i on att or cingular

Cingular has pay as you go GPRS activated by default on their accounts now. It will cost you money, but depending on how much you use it, it could be cheaper than signing up for a plan. There are lots of plans that combine all sorts of data like SMS and GPRS at reasonable prices though.

hey all, i've tried all the settings in this thread, and i can't get my k700i w/ cingular to work at all. i keep getting connection failed all over the place. should i be putting the same settings in the data connections also in internet profiles? i don't understand why there are two places for me to put login/pws as well as ips and all that. any help would be appreciated, tia.

Hey Siik,
Did you ever get answers? I've just "upgraded" from AT&T to the New Cingular (dubious) and can't get anywhere, even the MEdianet home page.

I haven't seen this thread in forever. Sorry to have overlooked it until now.
I can't proclaim to be an expert with the K700 because I have never used a K series phone, only T or P series. I don't believe that any Cingular settings have changed since I last posted them. Can anyone that actually set up their K700 and got it working confirm all the settings for that phone for these other users?
If not you might be able to try to find a more advanced freature setup from the officially supported S710a that Cingular has.
