Now, it's like buying two phones for the price of one (weight-wise)

Correction, its been around roughly since 2000. Alot of phones in the same class as 3310 were discontinued in the past and were better but this 3310 still lives.Whats so special about this 3310? This message was posted from a T300

They were/are built to last!

You know that you can drop it without needing a new phone

Have they ever let anyone down?

They're practically a design classic now! I don't think they're sold new in the UK any more, the 3410 is still carrying on I think, but 3310/30s are only really on the secondhand market.

They're also one of the easiest phones to repair, take the xpress on facia off, remove 6 screws, and you've got access to most of the phone's innards! And a modular design, so if your vibra motor fails, simply slip the old one out and pop in the new one!

That model is too old in my turf, as you can just see those being used in retail stores as - 'calculators' !

Its got one of the best usable design. It fits the hand perfectly. Very very usable and menus are as fast as it can get. With short cut keys you can reach most of the phone within a second and that too without looking at the screen. The phone can be used very roughly and can take any dirt and grime. 3310 was my last phone and believe me it was truly durable and reliable i once threw my 3310 straight across the road (by mistake of course i forgot it was in my hand i was trying to catch a falling bike) Another bike ran over it and yet there were only a few minor scratches

It still sells quite well in these parts
