On vodafone in Australia, there is a charge for using this feature. 25cents for the message, 5cents for the notification that the message was received. A premium on top of message. I use it all the time as you can tell whether their phone is on/off, choosing not to reply etc... This message was posted from a Z600

@boba its a feature of the phone but in my experience it is also a network dependant feature. (In the past this did not work on telstra, but has always work on vodafone) I regulary check my phone account online, and there is a seperate charge for using this. This message was posted from a Z600

in hungary all operators offered such codes for free always, i do liked it, cos when i used some of my /// oldies - which didnt has got the delivery feature - i new when the sms was delivered.
