The item on ebay certainly looks like the right kind of kit for the job, but I'd be wary. Firstly because it doesn't specify support for your phone and secondly because, well, it's ebay!

Personally I'd email the seller first just to make sure it will work with your phone, and also to ask him / her exactly what documentation you get with it. I know it says 'easy to follow instructions' but I'm a bit wary of the 'no support' bit. A friend of mine once bought a different unlocking kit that didn't work at all (it was broken) and he couldn't even get a replacement, never mind his money back!

Still, that was a totally different bit of kit to this so it might be perfectly ok

Im in the unlocking business myself. Just make sure that the unlocking kit you are ordering is compatible with your phone. Its really a simple job but do follow the instruction properly cuz if you screw up on the procedures, your phone has to be sent to someone for repair.

Hi.I have a simple java application for you for unlocking. The application is on http://k700i.site.cz under aplikace - Cyber Bog calc v7.Download it and install to your phone.Run the app, choose your phone model, enter your IMEI code, then your mnc code from your operator. It generates you a unlocking code. Then turn off your phone and turn on but without your simcard. Then enter the unlocking code. And thats it.

Please note, there is no "code calculator" for SE phones.

Sorry I'm new at this. I saw a post that said if I use my phone in a different country with a new sim it does not matter if my phone is sim locked? I have a Nokia 3310 from Kuwait and SIM in it now is from Wataniya. I do not know if it is sim locked and cannot try another sim to test it. What do you think about being able to take it to Europe with me? I think it should work from what I've read?

Also since I will be in UK, France, Germany, Italy and Austria can anyone recommend a SIM company? I've seen one called Riing does anyone have experience with them?

thanks!
