Methinks he meant that resin thingy that some phones have on their back panel, when you remove it you can plug in it external antennae for example it can be used for better reception in your car. K700 has one too but afaik its not sound but U- shaped. This message was posted from a Nokia

I think he means that plastic/rubber that covers the external (car) antenna terminal on some phones - usually found at the upper back of the phone. I remember seeing it on old ericsson phones.
