Hi,

I'm a new to P910i. Saw the good tips on how to read chinese on p910i. Manage to download the file but do not know how to create d:system\fonts directory to put the file.

Would appreciate if someone here could enlighten me on this.

Many thanks.

I use Window Explorer to browse Memory Stick under my P910i, but I can't find "system" folder. It only have audio, document, image, other, and video.

Also, I extract p800-simp.zip, it becomes 3 folders. Should I transfer all 3 folders to the phone, or open up each folder and transfer each file one by one?

Use SMan to move the files, the file manager in SMan allows you to see the system files.

After i've read everything that you posted, I got very confuse. But I know you are very experienced on P910i. Can you help me on the Chinese font installation. I have downloaded both .zip files from your web site. What do you mean SMan? I can't get the files to my P910i.

Somehow, I have created a folder called "system" under Memory Stick.
I have copied the file folder "fonts" and it's content to "system" folder.
According to the post, after I restart the P910i, I should be able to select Chinese language under control panel -> language selection. Am I right, or is there other steps I have to do before I can do this?

Please help! Thank you so very much!

You need to read the Memory Stick with a proper reader, not using the software that came with your P910i, it hides all the other folders from you.

Get a USB Duo reader and use that.

Or, copy the files using the lame SE software to Documents or other, then use SMan (it's a program you install on your phone, look here: http://renegade.w3xs.com/dr-sman.htm) to move the files to the proper place. Sman has an excellent built in file manager.
