I noticed on O2, when they used to support receipt delivery notification (via the settings on the phone) that the delivery reporting wasn't accurate. On other networks, you actually got the report when the person you were sending to received it, however, on O2, you get the delivery report as soon as you send the message, regardless of whether the person you are sending to has received it or not.

If this is still the case, then the delivery reporting on O2 is pretty much useless.

From my experience i have found that o2 delivery reports are accurate. I have one mate who has no reception at work but when i send a text to him i always get the report at the time when he leaves the building and is in reception areas where the message comes thru to his phone. This message was posted from a K700i
