my wifes PC was already maxed out in the hard drive bays and I had to remove a 80gb drive to get that one in!
I guess this is a bit off topic though but you can never compare solid state memory prices with hard drives price of course

@Shyam how much for the 400gig one? @masseur, you might want to check out the 1tb hdd. Is that one stable? My hands will start to shake if i'm holding the 1tb hdd! Thats a LOT of memory.

250gb was the biggest I could find on ebay and for £100 not a bad price. the way my wife goe sthrough hard drive space with all her graphic design I'll probably need a complete raid setup with several tb!
but for now I'm taking the simple approach

no,i think its cheaper at your place and/or your surrounding countries
@gov im not quite sure about the price , ill check it out . and as far as i remember two models were there one was 1tb and the second one was 1.6tb (i cant remeber the name of the manufacturer).
but i prefer two raptors raided over a 400gb hdd
