its like most other speed camera applications for pda's etc ..except it dosent show a map .You install the app and a database file (which is updated quite often) Get a bluetooth gps receiver (i paid about £60 for mine ..but can be used for many other applications).Pair the two together. When u start app it locks on to gps and your current speed wil be displayed ..then basically any time you get near a speed camera (distance can be set by you) you will get an arrow showing you what direction its at . Then when you do get a bit closer the arrow changes to a picture of a gatso or specs/red light camera depending on what it is . The backlight of your phone also lights up and you get an audioable warning aswell ( i must admit this is almost useless unless your in a quite enviroment..and i use a car kit which the sound dosent come out of..but im in talks with the developer to rectify this )..you can however use the sony ericsson headset which was supplied with the phone and this works quite well ..
Take a look here
www.trafcam.com for more info ...but i would worn you to e mail the developer before u purchase and see if he has had any joy in sorting out the quite sound problem first...its not that cheep !!

dont think so ..its a uk company ...unless you make your own database file for the country you are in ..at the end of the day the camera locations are just longitude and latitude co-ordinates..
