Ok.Herewith I want to apologise to anyone whom I may have insulted ! I have over 100 postings to this nice forum and none of them have intentionately insulted anyone (that I know of).Now I know the T610 is a great device and I do find it a bit unusual for it not having a custom made IM program. Also my friend is for real. Her nickname is 'LUVFAIRY' and you can meet her on Prodigits forum.Furthermore, I have posted first to that forum this same guestion,(without the somewhat instigatory remark) and I did'nt get much of a response.Anyway thanks for the answers and for the chaps who come up for me.Greetings from S.A. Mario

You can try with the IMic Client from Jabber (www.jabber.nu) it works good on my T630 and should work on T610. But it works much better on better phones ofcourse:p

More popular than the T610. Give me a break. The T610 was votes last year at Cannes best handset of the year and it was carried even in the US by all GSM providers. Heck, some are still carrying it to this very day.

i tried once to get an icq program working with my t610 and with the t630... but, the problem was it doesn't allow any java application to access wap...
but there are many programs for that... try searching at google for icq+j2me and then try them... it brings apps like MobICQ, or jimm, i had that running on my t610, but it couldn't connect

also an original icq-software:
http://www.icq.com/wireless/j2me/ but i wouldn't use that, it would abuse your wap traffic for a lot of ads i think
