I dont think a sim can cause these options to vanish from your phone settings, it may not support the services but still it cant remove the options. Did you recently get your firmware updated?

I updated a month ago, but I don't know whether this menu had extra functions before the upgrade, as I never had to worry about the delivery reports in the past...

Okay I've just checked with a SIM card from another operator!
Now all the options are there in the menus, so definitely you can remove menus with the SIM cards... When I put my other SIM in the phone, it doesn't appear anymore...

In an unbranded phone, there definitely should be this option. This might be a bug!

Well I don't think it's a bug... I think it's network related, as all the options (including Delivery report) appear when I put a SIM card from another network in it...

Ask them to replace the sim, or if you take it to them, they will put it into a sim doctor and check it.

My SIM card is one month old, so I don't think there's a problem with it...
I've called my network's helpdesk and they said they are aware there's a problem with SE phones and delivery report. SE phones can't receive delivery report at the moment on that network, they have to adapt their network in order to make it work! Most other brands already have delivery reports working properly on the network, but SonyEricsson not yet... They said they're working on it but couldn't tell me when it will be available...
It's strange!
