Well, let's forget about verichat, it sucks bigtime. First time i tried it said "not enough memory" second time i tried after they uploaded the wright version it won't initiate at all. i'm getting KERNEL errors.

I'll stick with JMSN and agile messenger.

When do you get the errors -- as soon as you launch it, or while in VeriChat chatting with your buddies? Would really appreciate if you could let us know the phone you have and the firmware version.

I will check on the swedish characters. We should be supporting UTF-8 with MSN and ICQ.

Currently you can see the message on your screen with flip closed with an option to "Ignore" by pressing the OK key. If you open while the message is visible, you are taken directly into VeriChat where you can go ahead and chat with your buddy. We thought about adding replies, but thought that it might just be easier to do it this way. Let us know your thoughts, and we will put in optional support for sending messages with flip closed.

Also, just to let you know that the product has just been introduced in beta, and this is our first product for the Symbian phones. We are going to be putting in features in this soon. Upcoming features include --
1) Hyperlinked phone numbers/web site addresses
2) A much much faster Push To Talk
3) BOTS
4) Multiple profiles (more than 1 account for a IM service).

Seems to be an ok app. Would have been great if it wasnīt for the floss that it doesnīt seem to be supporting swedish characters and the lack of support for taking/sending an picture as the agilemessanger does. I really liked that the ENTER key sent the message though, that isnīt supported by agilemessanger(i have emailed them about it so hopefully they get that one fixed). Great with flip closed mode but i wasnt able to reply though, maybe i did something wrong... Another thing is that agile is free and support swed chars so I stick with that, but a great app, if the errors are fixed i would consider buying it.

The error with the Swedish chars appears sometimes when i send a message, "Error in text" or something like that. When receiving messages with Swedish chars they are always removed. Another feature that you should consider is the ability to take and send pictures from the app. This is supported in agile and is a very nice feature to have, i wouldnīt trade this for annything on your list. My opinion about flip closed is that you should add the ability to reply, would be really nice to have this. The functionality should work something like press 1 to reply, 2 to abort, it would be annoying to have to use the jogdial. Another tip is to use tabs to switch between windows instead of combobox, itīs much nicer i think and get a better overview. The app should also have a flipclosed mode, bear in mind that you have to add something thatīs not supported by agile since itīs free and is a great app(appart from that it doesnīt support ENTER to send the message, i hate that!!).

I support Gardar, flipclosed support would be an asset to this program, typing the text would be easyer when in flipclosed mode. Does anyone have more suggestions?

Just released 1.06b which should be available by OTA installation the next time you launch VeriChat and connect to a network.

Major fix --
International (UTF8) Characters now supported. Swedish Characters should now work on VeriChat.

A bunch of minor fixes like scrollbar wasn't present in the session list if it became too big.
