Is it just me or somebody else thinks that two camera's are a big joke? This too is a difference.

Well the k600 is a UMTS phone which makes video calls. So you need two in this design: one "high res" camera for pictures, which has to be on the back so you can watch the screen, another one for filming yourself in a video call, which has to be on the same side as the screen, otherwise you wouldn't see the other person and you might be out of reach for the microphone.

In a clamshell it makes sense to put a swivel camera, and I suppose it is possible in a candybar, but it makes is complicated and prone to defects and all that. Furthermore I assume putting in a low-res 2nd camera is cheaper than making the camera swiveable.

Why would it be a joke?

Edit: grammar and style

So, can anyone tell me one good reason (apart from 3g) why I should give 500 for k600 instead of buying k700 for 210e.? This message was posted from a T610

thats more a question for the general K600 discussion rather than this comparison between K600 and Z800 but since I am replying with that comment I will say that I cannot really think of a reason except styling choice, but please continue in that in the general K600 discussion thread

no memory slot on the K600 but the Z800 does have memory stick PRO duo support (as does the V800)

Remember that one important point of the rotating camera on the V800/Z800i is that...

...YOU CAN MAKE 3G CALLS IN THE DARK.

As the light also rotates round. Perfect for showing off girls in clubs and bars to your friends who can't be there with you.

@masseur thnx! Anyway I consider not putting mc slot as sloppiness, cause they ruined another nice phone. Also I read somewhere that z800 is equipped with fm radio too? This message was posted from a T610

@ Ninja Wishfull thinking buddy ! Not even my good old nokia 7650,which has superb night filming capabilitis compared to any SE,can film in dark places at a acceptable framerate ! By increasin the exposure time you may be able to take a acceptable picture but forget filming ! Unless you are happy with 2-3 frames a second at best and at close proximity.Nevertheless a nice idea ! This message was posted from a Nokia 7650

Yes thats right. But we are not talking about video calling ! That is much easier because the distance is only 1-2 feet ! If you want to film girls without them noticing, you must be at least 1-2 meter away if not more. The inbuild light is not ment for that !Just do this experiment.Go into a dark room and film.Gradually increase the distance to your subject while moving the camera slightly to see what the frame rate is.I have tried this with a few differennt models and believe it or not the 7650 with its cmos sensor comes on top! I work as a cop and I am using it to film suspects at night. The only way to improve the pic is by using a infrared light. After all in both cases you don't want the subjects to see what you are up to.The old 7650 does so well - is not much behind my specially for the task, IR-filter fitted SONY trv-80.Dont ask me why,but even if the TRV is locked in overexposure mode it does not perform much better.(althou it is better)only in the night sight mode the TRV wins!
