what software will i need?
i tried using Infra red and can download pics to phone using windows infra-red file manager, but it is not detected by imageeditor of MMS.
When trying to enable the right COM port, it says
This operating system supports IrSockets for Infrared communication. All IrComm ports will therefor be disabled.
Cant find a solution. But least I know its not a prob with phone.

Save the theme and send it normally via the file manager in windows. There are lots of themes at esato for free download. Download them and try.

THanks for the help everyone. Got more info today than loads of emails to SE and Virgin combined.
1)For Ringtones, Im going to get them off bluetooth off a mates mobile.
Themes, Ill do the same, I think you can send themes.
Games, can these be sent between mobiles? Or can a mate send them to pc, then I download it off pc to my phone.
2)To verify, theres no other items I could be missing is there?
Should the menus, "more pictures" and "more sounds" and "more themes" have any data in them?
Are there any more special options I may be missing, like the theme editor that I thought existed, but really it was never included. Or in other words, what other pre-installed stuff is deleted when "all reset" is pressed. As I think this is what happened for all the stuff to disappear.

More themes games and sounds is just a link to the page of sonyericsson site- i.e. right place to download missing stuff. 2nd you should be happy not to have that preinstalled stuff which can't be deleted and takes memory that's too small already. Games can't be send to pc from phone, only reverse way possible. Pics and sounds can.

You can download games to pc or phone directly from web. But games that are on phone cannot be transfered.

What do you think it means? They are surfing on mobile.esato.com with their mobile and it automatically adds that info when posting

Partly correct, Only wml has "this message was posted from a xxxx". Html lite will not show that.
