i think there will be multiple r7's like the r6's and r7a is still being worked on. so there can be surprises in the future. plus i was told by se that in the next firmware there considering voice ringtones. i duno if this means .amr as ringtone or .wma , .wav , hopefully .wma , .wav

One of my friends bought a new T610. I checked its fw & found it to be R7. My old T610 was on R6C...and the new R7 seemed slower on Wap as well as general menu navigation.
