X-rays shouldn't interfere with a mobile phone, the frequency they operate on is very high, far higher than anything used in commercial applications of electro-magnetic radiation. I would check to see if there is something wrong with your handset, it is extremely unlikely to be the x-rays that are responsible for your data loss.
