okay thanks but what do the arrows represent? and where do i type it? where it asks to "turn on" etc or where the main menu is ment to be?

you have to use the jog dial. > means jog dial clockwise. < means jog dial counter clockwise.

Or presuming that it is still under warrenty, you could take it to where you bought it and get them to get it repaired under warrenty.

His phone can be fixed Nykon, without that. Anyway DIV cant fix that so no point in buying it off him. Take it to a service centre or take it to someone with professional tools. Not div.
