Some European countries have different layouts due to the fact that they use accented characters more often than their non-accented counterparts. It's not far off... but it can get confusing.

This, of course doesn't count languages that don't use an alphabet... like Chinese, Japanese, and Russian keyboards...just to name a few.

Yeah, it's really annoying specially if you have to work on both and have to keep switching. Really pisses me specially when entering shifted password characters!
