semec.de told me it would be out mid August, and I e-mailed
to ask them last week and still haven't heard anything back, not great customer service if they can't answer a simple question like that.

I heard that when you're in China, you're supposed to make a real loud burp, or belch, after a meal becasue its a compliment to the chef and quality of the meal. I'm not sure if I believe it though

Ask SE singapore and was told that sometime in october. And we are about a month slower than the other countries so I think most you will be able to see it around late aug - sept

Well, when ever it is, it better be quickly. Nokia just announced today that they will be unveiling their first 3G phone in Spetember!!! It will go on sale early next year. It will be a dual-mode WCDMA/GSM phone, so you will be able to use it in existing GSM networks as well as new 3G networks. They didn't say much about the phone, except that it will have a colour screen and will be able to play video clips.
So, these guys in SE better hurry up because when this new Nokia device comes out it will kick P800's ass big time...

I sent a query to SE UK yesterday and was told they are aiming for Q4. Looks like it has slipped due to the MemoryStick. I have to agree that any later than Sept and they will be facing serious competition from the 3G guys...

Well,..Nokia told on Cebit show in the spring, that their 3G phone (dualmode) would come in september,..so the "news" are a bit old already, hehe.
I just hope that it wont be the phone they showed earlier,..its really big and with a quite huge antenna !
