Yeah, I agree. I always make the point of reading the manual, no matter if it seems tedious or not.
Oh yeah, and get yourself a nice bluetooth headset, set up your speed dialling numbers and voice-dial commands. Set up your radio stations and your away.
Oh, and don't forget to set up your email and wap account. Get the settings from the SE website support page for your phone. They are free and they will be sent to you in the form of a text message.
Oh and loads more free stuff on myk700.net.

Congratulations on your new K700i! Firstly, I suggest that you find out if there's a network provider in your area that offers free gprs. If there is, buy a sim card from them and get the gprs settings. WAP browsing on the K700i is a very enjoyable experience -- pages load so fast.
Download J2ME applications that will appeal to you. (Don't buy them though -- I've never seen a midlet for sale that's appreciably better than its free counterparts!) I suggest the TequilaCat BookReader, and also the S700i converter resized for the K700i.
Set the camera quality to "fine" and click away. You have in your hands one of the best VGA phone cameras in the world (for me, it's the best) -- it just needs good lighting and a steady hand/subject. Get Neat Image or some other noise reduction software for editing photos on your PC.
As mentioned before, install Float's Mobile Agent in your PC. And also Hitziger's Dateimanager (for quickly transferring multiple files to/from PC.)
Use the "Auto save" feature of the radio. But make sure that you're getting very good reception while doing it, so you don't miss any FM station.
The MP3 player is superb. Files that sound harsh or unsteady from your PC's sound card become amazingly smooth and detailed when played on the K700i! I have 32kbps files to prove it.
