I do think that many here in the West do take our freedom for granted, especially here in the UK where we haven't been occupied for nearly 1,000 years.

As long as peaceful means are employed, no terrorism or violence, then people power imo does eventually triumph.

I haven't heard much of the Lebabon situation on the news here in the UK, all I've heard recently is them banging on about the Oscars, and the royal wedding, I wish they'd stop going on about rubbish like that and cover situations like this! Much more important than what film won an Oscar or what the Queen's saying about Charles's bloody wedding!

There's been a lot more coverage in the UK press over the last couple of days now, hopefully you'll get your independence, a lot of other countries have now called for Syria to pull out of Lebanon.

They've started calling this the Cedar revolution here, in a similar style to the Orange revolution in Ukraine after their rigged elections!
