The t610 isn't the best in reception, indeed. It's not poor nevertheless! I owned a t610 for a year and a half, then changed for k700i, and the reception is indeed better with that phone...

I have used T-Mobile before with a Nokia 3330. I had very little trouble. Now I find calls cutting out and places I used to get excellent reception with the Nokia I now get virtually nothing. I think I shall have to invest in a new phone.

Anyway, test with another phone. This may be a network problem too. Jojo m8 no nokia has been able to beat my T230 in terms of signal strength. I have extensively tested it with A 2100, ngage, 6600, 6610 etc. Though Nokias tends to have clearer voice reception. This message was posted from a T230

Taking of voice reception, I find that voice calls are always very loud by default and have to be reduced. Then the sound becomes a bit crackly.

I see that! However, I find that quite often I dial a number and it does not connect, it just goes back to the main screen and the mobile does nothing!

Do you have an opinion as to which the best network for signal is in the UK?

Thanks.

@gili, that definitely sounds like a network problem. The call not dialling thing. This message was posted from a T230
