I think se create a large space gap between announcements & release as a marketing strategy to create "tension" which works for some ppl, & less for others.

after so many SE phone's its quite common for 1st release to have firmware issues, bugs..... and blahs....
guess i would rather wait for 3rd-4th batch at least.
safer this way. coz it will be stable by then hopefully.
Looking forward to get a w800 and change my k750's casing over, full black with orange walkman down the center.

Some important information for W800i buyers

At first I was left a note; there was a change in W800i in screen. It went back to S600i, as not to be same as K750i. New developer, new parts ODM, but as for what he now stated, not better. Release date still would be the end of this month for the first lot will be shipped in a week. Firmware expectations of the model W800i is now handled in all parts of the world(confirmed), meaning everywhere is now ready to sell W800i.
The bad news that he wanted to share. SE stated that W800i will be down-graded on quality of the parts. K750i will still remain the highest camera model for SE during this time, until next 3 months, which you will be very happy with Sakura's specifications. The screen will be put down back to the kind in K700i and S600i, but not a carbon based screen in K750i which means slower frame rate in animations. Also lens will be down-graded to keep the price down or SE will not be able to push it down any lower. The new company sold new parts to SE at a lower price. The quality was brought down comparing to K750i.
If people are complaining about K750i's quality, then W800i will not be a good answer to them. Headphones and MSD Pro are as planned, nothing changed. I hope my news won't effect future buyers(I hope).
P.S. Watch Nokia next month; big tough phones with tough specs are approaching in high quantity, not sure about quality . Then after than SE and Samsung line up.
