Actually, in an interview with Sony Ericssons Vice VD Jan Wäreby 15 feb, he says he wants to make a big effort with games now.

http://www.svd.se/dynamiskt/naringsliv/did_9150179.asp

He say Camera was the first step, musicplayer the second (walkman).. and now he want to make games the 3rd step.

SE will now take advantage of their parents even more in the future.. that is the key for SE to beat their competitors. 3D games is not a bad thought and the knowledge is in the family with Sony Playstation 2.

Allready in K600 is a new golfgame lying and waiting.

Last question for Jan, can we soon speak in a Sony Ericsson Playstation? -Well well see.. thats not a bad idé, says Jan Wäreby, Vice VD at SE.

Cool

I remember when Newsweek had a special issue on the PSP they had an interview with the President of SCE who happens to be the vice president of Sony Corp. in which he holds up a phone, probably an SE, and say that this, the phone, isn't advanced enough to be the the solution for portable gaming. But of course it seems he would have liked the PSP to be a phone too. I wouldn't expect them to add phone capabilities to the PSP but on the other hand I don't think the PSP is going to have a 5 year life span like the PlayStation so maybe the PSP2 will be a Sony Ericsson

@whiz: With 1.5GB on each PSP UMD, I would say it would kick the shit out of the 32MB n-gage games . So far, I only have Ridge Racer and the demo PSP disk, can't wait for splinter Cell and Doom 3, POP etc.

What nonsense, to say that the ngage is dead
THe Qd is quite a great replacement to the original and there is a diehard fan base, caused by the multiplayer capacities, please do a bit of research before posting trash
