well this is a kick in the balls, been told I can have a refund or send it off to be unlocked and returned with lock codes.
If i did the latter of the two what else would I need to unlock it?
Ie software/cables etc

did you buy it new?

or second hand from someone claiming it was an 'unlocked' phone.

Typically what happens if the phone was originally network locked, you unlock it with DIV or similar shady tools, and then you upgrade the firmware, the security (GDFS) area will overwrite the unlocked codes with again the original locked codes because it sees the firmware has changed.

If you bought it new and locked, and your SIM is fine with other phones, your phone is buggy and needs a complete reflash.

or you may have to use DIV again!

It was sold 'as new' unlocked.
He said he will give me unlock codes but I will need software and a cable, where can I get these?
