Silly Samsungs.

Will the blinking of my IR on the phone be obvious or will it be tiny?

well what did the 700 look like?? was it a candybar, or did it have a swivel to open it? like, did it swing open to the side?

and yes silly samsungs but about the blinking IR, i am not personally sure, but i assume it would be obvious if u were looking for it... but im not sure. someone will post again soon and tell us.

I don't think you can see ir flashing. I say that just once and it wasn't phone, but laptop ir port. If you wanna test it, take any phone with ir, go to phonebook, more, send, via ir. If ir is working, you'll be able to send the contact to any phone. This message was posted from a T610

Including samsung phones too, cause it works for t610 and e800 and v200. Anyway try this, he it won't work you'll probably have to repair it, I only succeed to transfer pb contacts, but when trying with pics it said something like transfer error, not device not found. Did your friends turn ir reception on? Have you aligned phones properly? This message was posted from a T610

try to sdee if you can see the flashing IR though. i am not near a seconf IR device, so i cant try it now, but will try later!

I will give it a blast tonite also.

As for lining up the phones it was emitter to emitter, the messages ranged from transfer error - make sure the IR is turned on etc....

Will have a look through the Digital Camera later.
