Do you mean the Playstation or the PS1?

I think PS1 is Sonny's play station 1. I'll stick with my pda and my I-pod. Another question!:) Let's keep this gadget thing alive. Which gadget do you wish the gyzmodelics companies would give birth to?

If we gave names to devices before companies released them, the companies may go bankrupt because we already guessed what they where going to make and they wouldn't be able to surprise us anymore.
I think the currently most wanted gadget is a mobile phone with a built in coffee maker

hmm top 10 of all time?
First gaming console (in my case an Atari 400, but wasn't it a coleco vision that was first?) which paved the way for playstation, xbox and others to come.
The VCR - which later paved the way for the glorious world of DVD!
The walkman - portable music, well we all know where that is today.
The dishwasher - no more mucky mash and pea dishwater to deal with ever again! until we moved and there was no dishwasher.

(Moved again, dishwasher! SCORE!)
The Amiga / Atari ST - proving computers could be mroe than just dual colour telnet boxes that people needed science degrees to use - and were fun. Amiga and Atari game developers have provided games that are still land marks today. (Worms, lemmings, Shadow of the beast)
The Commodore 64 / Vic 20 / Speccy - home computing that was fun. Once the tape loaded that is.
The first mobile phones, bricks, flips, clams, and more

- Where would we be without them today. Certainly not on Esato.
The modem & the internet. Hard to seperate these 2, you really needed one for the other - it opened the world to each of us and inturn collapsed the world into something that was accessible to everyone.
CD - quality music, mass storage, certainly led to minidisc and DVD as well. Suddenly tapes seemed... Retro.
The wireless remote control. Dear god heaven!
Special mention also to the mac newton, wasn't it the first pda out there? Yes they did something good before jobs canned it because he hated it.
That would be my all time list I guess.

All time greatest should also include CRT, LCD, coffee machines and toilet paper :-)

You're right man. This is why they get reach:) and you're not! I was trying to ask what do u imagine the next cool gadget would look like .
Forget the poo vaporiser:). Someone had that idea and soon found out that it was pure poison. It's just a stupid film story....Ben Stiller's idea:)
