I think the 6630's quality isn't really that far behind in terms of detail and sharpness. It's just the color that seems to be a bit off IMO -- a bit pale and looks too bluish. The S700 does seem to have a bit of a reddish hue but generally looks more accurate.

I actually thought there was not much between those pics when I first seen the first 3. The 6630 seemed more coloured on the outdoor pics but the indoor pics is where the 6630 boobed.
