How come all of you are overlooking the battery life? 15hrs and 30hrs battery performance of the w800 will push it as a proper music player unlike other phones where if you get absorbed in music too much you may just end up missing your calls coz of battery dying on you at the wrong time.

the battery on paper sounds great however previous experience with se phone points that there claims are greatly exaggarated, look at the k700 gets nowhere near se s claims.
however i wont critise these phones till they are out and tested so we can get an idea of battery life in the real world

the huge memory card included with the w800 is a bigger difference imo (depends on price difference a bit admittedly) . and the garish colours...headache inducing.

With a 900 mAh and probably less power consuming components, we may come closer to estimated SE values with W800/K750.

Atleast in the east, you get to sample early. In the U.S. The S 710a was released last month. Grrrr...... My next phone will be the K750.

I think SE calculations on battery lifetime is based on the following criterias:
1 Battery is new and fully charged (duh!)
2 A fully cleansed memory
3 You're standing absolutley still next to an antenna on a beutifull day!
So, mp3 mode batt.life time shouldn't depend on point 3, getting a normal, sane person closer to SE's values.
