I believe that its an led light, and they cant 'burn out'. Also, is there a way to turn off the light after you have done this little trick? Or do you just have to wait for it to go out? This message was posted from a T610

LEDs have a VERY long life span (tens of thousands of hours I think) so don't worry about it
