the 32mb card can only store 8 mp3 tracks which sucks big time and a mmc costs big time too. i did not enjoy using it for only 30 mins. of tunes but the sound is great though. it does not run on winxp which is very bad also.

What bitrates do people use? I use 128k\s. Obviously the lower the bitrate, the more songs u can get on each card, but the quality does decline in the process!

Theres a program called Diet MP3, you should be able to find a crack for it. It'll decrease the quality of mp3 to Fm quality. you don't really need cd quality as you never hear it that good cos the headphones are crap! i can roughly store 15 tracks on my 32mb MMC card!

I wish they had the foresight to use Memstick Duos instead of MMCs.

Would've worked great with the upcoming SE models, and P800!

I use Mac OSX and fill the my 128mb MMC card by simply mounting it as a drive via a PCMCIA adapter in my powerbook G4...but a usb MMC reader would work just as well. MMC is SLOW to write though...it takes about ten minutes to fill my 128mb card!I think I need to reformat my MMC card, as the phone gives me a "Music File Error" every time it jumps to the next track. I can hit "Yes" and continue listening, but it's a pain to have to do that every time a song ends. I read somewhere a reformat might help this, but I've yet to figure out how to do it without using a PC and their crappy parallel port reader. Any ideas? By the way, the parallel port reader that they include is SO lame I can't believe it. What is this, 1996? How about usb? Jeez.
