My mate has 1. It's fantastic. About earpiece cleaning- I use thin toothpick or split a match and roll on small amount of cotton.

Gawd them Kirby reps saw u2 coming! Its a good machine for wat it does but at that price Id buy a normal vacuum like a vax or dyson :-D .. Still have'nt touched the earpiece hardley bin using my K700i lately since ive got my old classic S55 back ;-)

i cleaned a mates pub a few times in the past.he used to have a nice cylinder vac, i could get the place done in about 20 minutes.
the last time he had a kirby, i dunno if there are new models but my aunty bought this model about 15 years ago. it weighed 4 times heavier than me (and im a heavy git) it took me over an hour to vac the floor. NEVER AGAIN!!!

if u do use a vac, putit on a v low setting!

i dont wanna take this thread too much off topic but....
obviously with an upright vac i had to move all the tables out if the way, that took a long time!
plus he had a v rough pub, i spent a lot of time clearing up broken glass as well!
