if i wanted something for video, i would buy a video camera. Its GOOD ENOUGH to record things, but the shutter seems a little slow. Any idea about not being able to log-in on my k7 to esato?

We are not talking pics, we are talking videorecording, and since the E700 doesnt even have a videocam I doubt it will record video doing 120km/h, or even doing 0km/h

The K700 follows the 3gp standard so that other phones may also play back the videos if you send them via mms, which is basically the purpose of the videocam. E600 does not follow this standard but records video in motion jpeg (only 30sec), which is not compressed as much as 3gp format. This gives a litle bit better picture but no compatibility with other phones. Rather useless for anything but playback on your own E600. K700 records unlimited up to available memory, in acceptable (though not exceptional) quality if guidelines regarding light and keeping the camera still is followed.

According to something someone from SE said last year when it was released, the K700i is capable of capturing better quality than it does, but SE stopped it doing so because users would use up their memory too quickly, so they stuck to a low quality 3GP standard.

I believe numb has explained everything quite well in this thread and yes, if you wanna take good vids just place somewhere or if thats not possible try and be as still as possible.
I've taken some really good quality videos over the months with the k7 and i can confirm that how long you've had your phone on has nothing to do with video quality coz i havent switched off/rebooted my phone in ages.
