Opera Browser loads it fine so its definately not a Network or GPRS settings issue.
It must be something to do with the site maybe having changed & the P910 browser compatibility

im no expert but what might have happened is that they set up a redirect to the wap page if they see that the browser is from a smartphone/pda.
i remember someone saying a while ago sites can tell your phone brand and model. they may have just missed the p800 off thier list.
i dont use google much, anyone want to swap thier p9x0 for my p800?

The sonyericsson internet browser would go by default to the wap page if the site offers both html and wml options. As said, some webpages can redirect you to their wap page when ur trying to connect through ur phone. Try for example http://www.flex.mtctouch.com.lb It's my network provider media site & it offers free sms through web so to prevent us from using that feature on our mobile through the browser, it simply redirects us to their wap page thus preventing us from using the web to sms feature.

But it USED to load the full page. My browser hasn't changed & the google wap site isn't new so they must have changed something which makes it redirect.

Yup. Email them and ask whether they tweaked some browser support settings.
