I hardly ever buy anything expensive in britain, just go abroad get it for upto half price sometimes, the thing is, the taxes in the UK are too high, especially on fuel and computers.

anyway i would just get charged when bringing it back into the country
plus the flight, spending money and hotel etc etc
i will be buying from apple direct in a couple of days
cant wait, i have dreamed about owning a mac for ages
