the four dots are for the application menu and are by default . u cannot remove them . u can get rid of sman by uninstalling it from install/uninstall menu

@Arde I was just thinking, if you have SMan 1.3 or better, you should try the fix applist option. It was designed to solve the problem of disappearing applists, but since it resets it, it might work. If that doesn't work maybe try the reset app order in SMan. This is also a longshot, but worth a try

As I have the same problem on my old p800, I can tell you that the fix applist utility in Sman 1.3 / 1.4beta will not resolve the issue.
As I already stated, I just ignore the applist icon in my application list. It showed up after a format of my internal drive and has been there ever since. Besides that I use tracker with shortcuts to all my favourite programs / apps so I'm hardly using the application list anyway.
