`I love all this kinda stuff, i brought a sega saturn and 10 games of ebay for about £20 i was well chuffed!! got a jap convertor, two controllers and loads 'o' fun!
Is the notdavidbaily site yours ? cause if so you are one seriously funny guy, some of your captions are great

Yeah, NotDavidBailey was my first ever website. I haven't updated it in years, I really should get round to doing it.
UPDATE: I've got a sneaking suspicion that my internet connection isn't up to running the server for online play because the upstream is only 288. The downstream is fine (2224) so it might be better if we use one of the other available servers for online play. I'll muck about with it after work and see if it is ok.

Maybe, I've got a 2meg connection too but it's ADSL, the upstream is much lower than the downstream which is what I suspect is causing the problem.
I'll stick the server client on the website when I get in from work, you can download it and have a go

Sounds like it's playing the game demo instead of the game. Have you set the controls up via the 'options' menu? By default, the enter key is the start button. With most Megadrive games, the demo starts playing within a few seconds if you don't press the start button, especially on the sonic games.
