lt is safer to install new fonts in d rather. lf for some reasons the new fonts failed to display correctly we need only to remove the MS DUO reboot and select another fonts

i tried installin fonts on p800 an C and then the phone never booted.;(

It heppened to my with my old P800. I changed the font after following some introductions before sman v1.3 came out! I installed them manually somehow with FreeType. And I needed to put it on the C:/wystem/fonts
What I did to solve this problem was to format the interal memory by doing this:

1. Turn the phone on.
2. At the pin entry part do the following :
Jog dial up, *, down, down, *, down, *
3: it should bring up the service menu.
4. select service functions.
5. select yes
5. your internal drive is now formatted.

Just be allways sure to have a backup before you are going to do something in the system folder!

IMHO, fonts without Serifs are better for reading.
