@MadBob, thank you. Everyone says its thinner, but its exactly the same, just wider. (also are you and Mad_Bob one and the same?)
@everyone, I agree the P900 flip is cool. I like the metal look with blue lights, but the P910 flip looks more like it belongs on the phone than the P900's flip. Plus, the P910 flip does more and doesn't hurt the phone as much. Simple decision really...

sigh how many times do I have to dispel this bulshit!
With the two phone position like that, there might be a chance of little Pxx offsprings.

I've been using my 910i with the flip on, as I did with the 900 earlier. The other day, I thought I'd try using it with the flip removed. The phone is much smaller that way, and looks like those new O2s. But I fixed the flip back because:
i) I couldn't find a way to lock the phone before putting it back in the holster except for the "lock in 1 min" in the display options in the control panel.
ii) I've got used to the keys on the flip, not just for dialling but also for the other functions they provide (like using T9 for texting).
iii) My virtual flip never displayed.
Am I doing something wrong?

@dilipc
i) You can lock the phone if you tap the battery indicator and then choose lock screen.
ii) As for the T9, you are absolutely right. I almost fell down several times while trying to write an SMS while walking.
iii) Try going to: Control panel -> Other -> Flip settings and make sure that the "Enable virtual flip" option is selected.
I used the P910 for about 3 months and I can say that it's better without the keyboard. It has like everything it's ups and downs, but I preffered the phone without it.

Ok, now we're looking at a possible SE answer to the XDA mini

. Soon to come (after 9 months), P910 mini!

i. You might want to get a third party software if you want a quick way to lock your screen and map other apps/functions to certains keys. For example, Tracker 4.x has a screen lock hotkey that you can configure so you only need to press a button (eg. camera, internet, or even the jog dial) to lock the screen imediately.
