There are 4 apps that I experienced having this issue with the built in Picture app of a P910i:
1. Keymapper
2. Timepane (solve by putting Timepane to hide when using Picture app)
3. AquaAlarm (solve by tentatively uncheck "Icon always on" in settings and Aquawell will try to add in icon hide list just like Timepane in future releases)
4. Advanced Call Manager (solve by unchecking the "show indicator in FO mode option)

That's right, adnhk1 explained it all. Unless you have one of these apps running, follow LAU's method of killing apps one by one using Sman. I'm sure this will solve your problem. Good luck

I think it's keymapper. Well, i think I have to live with it.
I like using keymapper...so I guess i'll keep it.
What alternative photo viewer can you guys suggest?

Why live with it, get magic launcher and you will get all the benefit of keymapper and + + more and a nice compact launcher. I bought it for $8.95 direct from the developer's site symbianwave. It's more expensive in Handango, and besides they don't accept sales from the Philippines cause they say our country is blacklisted. Well their loss not mine.
You can first try the trial version which I did before buying if you find it useful. I'm glad you have identified the cause of your problem.

Yeah, that's the prob with handango...can't buy anything there if your from the phil. what I do is I email my uncle who live in the USA and he emails me the apps all paid for.
