SE include many features in their phones, Samsung tend to leave a few out, such as the FM radio.
Neither the D500 or K700i have a memory card port, so with the D500 you're stuck with 96mb. Thats more than double the memory of the K700i, however, with a 1.3mp camera the D500 has the greater need for more memory. Every megapixel phone i can think of has a MMC or Duo port.
The D500 is about the same size, but larger when slid open.
